Our company is located on the third hill Montalbano Jonico, in the province of Matera, in the beautiful Basilicata. We consider ourselves lucky to have been born here, because we’re surrounded by unspoiled nature and majestic and fascinating ravines. The ravines are an open-air museum, created by large clay conglomerates, which in ancient times were part of a seabed – the palaeo-sea existed in the Quaternary, about 1.8 million years ago.
The Masseria, immersed in this panorama, offers a unique experience: wine bar, restaurant, rooms to stay in and an outdoor pool.

Since our foundation we’ve had a mission: to create wines of excellent quality which could hold the most precious secrets of our ancestors.

We cultivate our vineyards and select our grapes with constant dedication. The search for quality is always combined with respect for the wine tradition of the region, also making use of technological innovations in winemaking.
The Crocco Cellars produce about 100,000 bottles per year, divided between red (Merlot, Sangiovese, Primitivo, Aglianico) and white (Greco, Chardonnay).
